Loren & Mike | Vancouver Wedding Photographer
On the first day of class, Loren was at least 30 minutes early. She got her seat at the back of the class, had her notebook and pens out, and was ready to go. Mike showed up 10 minutes late.
While her first impression of Mike was not that complimentary, Loren soon changed her mind when Mike began sitting near her and the two began to talk. A few weeks later, Mike offered to drive her home after class, and Loren said yes. Then he asked for her phone number so he could take her on a date. Loren and Mike had their first date at Rocky Point Park, and the rest is history.
I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding this summer at the Pitt Meadows Golf Club. It was a gorgeous summer’s night and I found a magical, little spot not far from the club to take some sunset photos. Loren and Mike are a sweet couple who really enjoy being with their friends and family, which truly showed throughout the day. Loren and Mike were easy going and open to the ideas I had, especially with Loren’s cathedral veil (which was amazing!) The bouquet she had was fantastic, as the flowers were all fake but they looked so real — such a great idea for brides who are looking for a particular flower they’d like on their wedding day that aren’t in season.
