Kristina + Phil | Vancouver Elopement Photographer
Since the pandemic, I bet a lot of us had to get creative to figure out how to just make things work. I’m referring to making ends meet, or staying creative or just keeping occupied. COVID19 pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and problem solve. For a while now, I’ve been wanting to really focus on smaller weddings; elopements in particular, as I found that I could really connect with couples and get to be really creative.
When COVID19 hit and we were in lockdown, I kept thinking to myself, how can I still stay connected in the wedding industry and how can I create an opportunity not just for myself, but for others during this difficult time. I had been seeing micro weddings become the thing and I thought, how can I be a part of this moment and make it my own! I reached out to my childhood best friend, Sarah (owner of Taffete Designs), to team up and network with local vendors to create our own elopement service. With a little perseverance, we were able to connect with an amazing team of artists to offer our very own special elopement service. I am so excited to be working alongside these creatives and be able to showcase our talents together for not just this uncertain time, but for the future to come.
Kristina and Phil were our first elopement. They were absolutely adorable and such gems to work with. Even though our service is a one-hour affair, it was a gorgeous and intimate time spent together. A big thank you to them for wanting to work with us, as we had such a pleasure working with them. Congratulations you two!
