Jessica + Mike | Vancouver Engagement Photographer
“We met on a dating app, with a 90% match. Mike sent me a message and we started chatting on the app for a bit, then he asked for my number. We started texting and he asked to go on a date with me. I was living in North Surrey and he was in Chilliwack, we first met in person in the middle in Abbotsford. Our first date went really well, and we hit it off. Mike asked if he could see me again the very next day. We had a great second date the next evening and had a good connection between us. This marked the beginning of meeting up in the middle several times a week to see each other, and then early mornings and long commutes to work seeing each other almost daily. With the writing on the wall, we eventually decided to move in together and I moved out to Chilliwack!! We wanted to build a family together and the rest is history - more than 3 years later here we are, luckier than ever, with our 8-month-old beautiful baby boy Jonathan.…..and the saga continues!”
Despite coming out of hiding during the peak of COVID-19, clients were eventually comfortable with the idea of getting in front of the camera (and were getting impatient with wedding planning and waiting to get married!) Jess and Mike had a wonderful engagement session in the Shakespeare Garden at Stanley Park, during the spring cherry blossom season. It was a beautiful bright day spent with the two of them and their son, Jonathan. I absolutely love it when the little ones can join in on the fun of an engagement session.
